About Us

Hello Sherman Community.
My name is Terry Gonseth and I’m going into my 8th year as Sherman Principal. I’d like to first say, “Thank you” to all parents, guardians and families for sharing your amazing children with us.

Our goal is to build a caring and inviting culture and atmosphere where students feel safe and free to learn. Our teachers and staff at Sherman have created an environment that students love to be in.

We have a lot of fun at Sherman Elementary as well as prepare our learners to be responsible citizens. Each day we recite the Sherman Pledge:

Our students work very hard at fulfilling our pledge and do an amazing job every day. We look forward to a great year with great students and families alike.
